The Story Behind Haven 33 Creative
Honoring My Roots, Embracing the Journey
Every business has a story—and mine starts with love, loss, and a deep desire to create something meaningful.
When I first started my design business right out of college,16 years ago, it was called Con Amore—Italian for "with love."
My dad, who was born in Argentina and also comes from Italian roots, helped me come up with the name. I remember the day as if it was just yesterday, both of us sitting in my car together dreaming up ideas, when he spewed out the two words that so perfectly fit.
At the time, I was designing wedding invitations, so it aligned so wonderfully. It honored my heritage, captured the spirit of my work, and reminded me to pour love into everything I made. That name carried me through the early years of entrepreneurship, and it meant the world to me.
But as time passed, things shifted. My business began to evolve into something deeper—something less about one type of product and more about helping people bring their ideas, stories, and visions to life through design, photography, and creative experiences. I knew I had outgrown the name Con Amore, but letting it go felt impossible. Especially after my dad unexpectedly passed away in 2019.
I was 33 years old when he died.
And that’s when Haven 33 Creative was born.
I still wanted him to be a part of this next chapter. The number 33 became symbolic—a quiet tribute to the age I was when he left this world, and the transformative year that cracked me open and brought me closer to my purpose.
“Haven” felt like the perfect word to reflect what I want this business to be: a safe, welcoming space for people to feel seen, supported, and inspired to create from the heart.
So much more than a rebrand, Haven 33 Creative is the blending of all the parts of me: the artist, the intuitive, the deep-feeler, the designer, the photographer, the teacher, the daughter. It’s a home for meaningful creativity. And it’s infused with the same love that started it all.
Whether you're here for design, photos, or a creative spark—you’re welcome in this space. I’m so glad you’re here.
